I’ve always been creative; from drawing to painting to photography to playing instruments. I learned to play the piano at a young age which not only fueled my creative side, but formed skills of diligence and perseverance. I grew up playing sports, which got me comfortable working in a team environment and asking and offering for help when needed. I knew that to succeed one person cannot do it all; it takes the whole team. I always knew I wanted to do something creative in the future that involved working with people, which is why advertising and public relations was the perfect major for me.

Originally from Seattle, WA, I stepped outside my comfort zone and made the decision to move to Chicago to further pursue my education. I fell in love with the city and my school and knew this was the place where I could develop into my best self. The numerous opportunities, right in my backyard, has allowed me to grow my network and explore my passions and interests.

I am now a senior at Loyola University Chicago and I am excited to gain real world experience in my field. I’m eager to learn more about my field and extend my knowledge outside the classroom. I am currently a Pack Intern, a program which focuses on creating marketing initiatives to drive student engagement at Loyola athletic events - coming with giveaway ideas, video promotions, and fun ways to get the students involved. I also work as a Social Media & Influencer Relations Intern at a PR agency, called Karrie Leung Public Relations, which has given me so many new and fun learning opportunities and allows me to work hands-on in an agency environment. I am excited for what is to come in the future and can’t wait to learn more!
